I am sorry I haven’t been posting like I normally do. My grandma died last night. I was going to go say goodbye today with my big sister but it was too late. I haven’t been to see her since she went into hospice because even though she hasn’t really been awake I was scared her spirit would hear me crying and being sad and I didn’t want to do that. I miss her very much. We had special games and always ate a chocolate bar and made popcorn to eat together. Here is my grandma. Leah

Leah- Sorry I haven’t been her to visit for some time. I wanted tell you something about your Grandma Louise. Whenever I get a birthday or Christmas present from her (I know it was her, not George, who did the thinking about these things) it would have something to do with horses. One year I got two beautiful bone china horse figurines that I still have. Another time was when I turned Eight years old; she gave me a book called The Snow Filly. The book was written by the same author who wrote The Man From Snowy River (they made a movie out of Snowy River), Elyne Mitchell. I have treasured that book all my life (great story!). The whole time I was growing up, while mom & dad were trying to focus me AWAY from horses, your grandma was putting a wernch in the works and fueling my dreams! I cried my butt off when she passed. Oh, yeah, and my name is Elizabeth Louise. Hers was Louise Elizabeth. That was my mom’s idea.
