I couldn’t take my pony Mac because he is still off on the right front. We couldn’t get a coggins in time for the little welsh/thoroughbred cross I have been working with…SO….I got to take TESS:-))) Tess is Terry’s eventing mare and I had the best time ever. My jumper division was huge. We went clear for the first class, moving us on to the jump off. Terry told me to “shorten my reins and put the pedal to the metal” LOL. My mom was probably having a heart attack but my mom did great. The jump off had some hard roll back turns and when you are moving out you have to really balance back as soon as you land so you can make the turn and not waste time. Tess was the awesome mare she is and Terry says as soon as she knows people are watching she goes right to work and does her job and then looks around like “did you see me? I’m good”
The second class/division you had to go clear over the first 5 jumps of the course and if you didn’t get a whistle then you galloped for the last 5 fences. This time we took 5th, I had a long turn that should have been shorter but still, we did well against alot of competitiors.
This was my first jumper show and I was so lucky to get to ride Tess. Thank you TERRY. We all had a fun day

The last picture is slowing down after crossing the flag/timer and giving her a BIG pat:-)
